hi, i have hot for radiators but not through taps, i took out diaphram and cleaned which was ok, manual says it must be micro switch as when i press the metal rod with my hand and push the switch down it fires up, although i still have no hot water when i do this. what should i buy to fix this?, many thanks

Perhaps you need to buy a boiler engineer?

There are many other aspects to a combi giving hot water than just the diaphragm!

i will need to try that one cleaning a diaphragm  why go to all that trouble and not change it they are only about a fiver.

yeh, i could have changed the diaphram with one i had sitting about like every other household lol :P i could have spelt it right but am busy at work and not just giving out naff info cos im bored at home without a life

Common sense you order the bit before you strip it down after asking advise on what the cure is.
Pray tell where you gained the info that cleaning a diaphragm would cure a boiler fault .

And it doesnt take a rocket scientist to work out it cannot be the microswitch if it fires when you manually press it
