any speed limit on the motorway is daft... it should be open... as it's clinically devoid of pedestrians and cyclsts etc... so it's like a train line... therefore you deal with the traffic around you....
The biggest improvement by far would be to ban HGVs from the middle lane....

Would be better if they improved roll on roll off train facilities and associated fares (for cars) as well as improve freight travel along commercial-only transport routes.

Yep ban lorries from the middle lane because otherwise the speed diffferential will be too great when they just pull out without looking.
Surprise surprise this very week one did it to me again and I had to emergency brake.. It was a dual carriageway so I didn't have another lane to move into.

Case in point - the Trafford Centre. There is access to local and mainline railway tracks for container/flatbed carriages. Why then are goods provided by HGV's trundling up and down the motorway network.
There are probably numerous other examples which exemplify the need for an imaginative logistical approach.

yeah Clarkson syas he's never braked on the Mway... what ******.. if you haven't braked hard then you're holding up traffic behind you and causing a hazard !!!!!

You don't half have some bad luck being cut up all the time, I'd try looking at your driving manner ?
Driving at 40 on a motorway and you could get yourself a ticket quite easily.
