I am trying to find a temporary solution for an office until we can build extension to the house. Initially I though building an insulated shed but then I realised that perhaps I might be better of buying a small caravan and use that as an office?
My concern though is that it will not be insulated enough throughout the winter. I guess I can have a electric heater in there etc..

Any experiences?

There's a guy two doors down from me who has a caravan in his front garden which he uses as an office. My road is full of old people who all have caravans (posh ones) so it doesn't stick out. he's been out there all through the winter so it can't be that bad.

I considered this as an option but I just couldn't find anything cheap enough that didn't look like I bought it from the side of the road.

Not convinced you've posted in the right section but id personally get a large shed, more space and more practice.

plenty of gippo's live in caravans during the winter,+ when your extension is built you can simply tow it away or sell it
