If you own a LTD company and employ an accountant, he will do his utmost to do the company accounts correctly as he's the one ultimately responsible for any "accounting " errors.
At one company I worked for, the MD asked the accountant to put a ride on lawnmower through the books as a company vehicle. (was only ever used at his own home) The accountant refused and with good reason. He was the one that risked imprisonment and/or fine, if he'd done as the MD asked.

It's great the biggest fiddlers are the government and their backers one of which is a lord who said he would move back here to pay tax but has not he lives in Belize to avoid tax all the billionaires in the Tory gov are on the fiddle which just confirms that conservertives mean conserve their money and make.
