FIX or BIN electric shower

My electric shower is becoming somewhat unreliable.

Suddenly mid shower it will start to get very hot

Or suddenly the pressure drops off

Can these things be fixed or is it just time to replace it?

Take it off and chuck some kettle descaler in it.

Should sort it.

Do you mean the shower spray head,
or the innards of the heater box ?
