of my bedroom and well they they like to visit at night and leave some droppings. the bit where i thought they were i have blocked any gaps around skirting with bait so i will no if they coming out of there and a couple of rentokil bait boxes, that was only last night and no sign so far tho i will fill the gap around central heating pipe in next couple of days with some old food can but also drop some bait down the gap before. any other ways of getting rid of these? i could try a cat but my 2 dogs would have the cat for breakfast!

any other ideas?

forgot to add that this is the first night i have heard them in the floors from downstairs

Fill any holes with wire wool and use traps not poison.
If they die from poison inside the walls it'll smell to living hell.

Well tge hole I filled with bait has been disturbed and also there is either chipped paint or plaster. That must of been the noise I heard earlier I get the spot behind storage unit I won't be able to see if tge entering from there. Gonna get loads of wirewool tomo and fI'll every gap up tho I then suspect they will appear somewhere else

filled every hole with loads off wire wool, stuck some snap traps under floor lets see if this works if not next stage is to borrow a cat of a mate and have wrecked doors from dogs trying to get the cat

They are very flexible and only need a pencil diameter hole to get thru.
Traps are far better than poison which can take a while to act as they tend to nibble at various food sources.

Before dieing in a corner and rotting under your floor....

Agreed, get a a few standard mouse traps and trap them. We find melting Chocolate onto the bait board is the best option.

Sounds like you have solved your problem then.

Im glad you let him go in a film a decent distance from your house rather than just a feild, because as someone who lives near a field in the middle of knowhere it always amuses me when people let mice back out 'in the wild'. Atleast if he is in a film theres a decent chance the film crew will trap him before he finds our house and we have to....

Sorry, been an interesting morning at work, does odd things to the mind!

lol.

Well they don't appear to be making as much noise now so something is happening just not sure what.

Put some trays of Retokill under the floor.

Don't overload then, a small amount and top it up each day is best.
