We seem to have loads of mice in the house.
The kids leave food on the floor too often - this has been drastically stopped now.

What should I do?
I've seen a few youtube videos, but am a little confused.

Before, I didn't want to kill mice - and tried humane mice traps.
Now, it's too much... now, I don't care because of the health hazards they will cause.

We now find mice droppings on the bed. Eeeew!

If we leave mouse poison around the place... and they end up dying... this could leave a big stench that might be impossible to get rid of? Just wondering.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks.

Either snap traps that (usually) kill them straight off or humane ones and let them go as far away from your house as possible. What about getting a cat?

Snap traps with a little nutella chocolate spread.
We put some flour on the floor in the kitchen and hall to see where they were mainly coming and going via there foot prints.
