Spec me a vaccum cleaner for cleaning up building works dust

As title really guys, need a half decent vaccum cleaner to clean up all sorts of building dust and small debris.
Don't wanna risk the dyson on plasterboard/finishing plaster dust as it would knacker it.
Don't wanna pay a fortune either, sub £80 should do it?

I'm guessing something along the lines of a henry?

Thanks for any advice offered.

You got it in one, henry all day long, i use my Charles (henry with water suck facility) for exactly the same, even use it without the bag and it works a treat

You should be able to get a henry for sub £100, some on here have linked to some selling at £80, i got my charles while shopping for a henry,they were on offer at B&Q, £70 down from £139, no chance i was turning that down

Henry spare motors are about £25 and that gets my vote (again)....another bonus is that the cable winds into the top - very convenient.

Unfortunately the charles does't have this feature, thats the one thing that lets it down

Would a Henrietta do? It's pink ffs, but a friend has one going for £30.
Is it up to the same tasks as a Henry?

Actually it's a Hetty, but i think it's the same.
Been offered it for £30, so think we'll have it.

Being the ultimate anorak, I've squashed part of the stainless steel tube from wor Henry almost flat in the vice.....perfect for car valeting and removing the feminine rubble that collects in 'er indoors' motah.
Running total = at least 4 lipsticks, nail boards, drink bottles, numerous Biro's, hankies, second hand chewer, boiled sweets stuck down, some conkers ( ), keys that fit nowt, shoes and 55p in copper.

The last numatic I had suffered from constant bag splitting when working with plasterboard dust...

What about one of the nilfisk units, way cheaper than the likes of festool etc, even though they make their units.
