Er, alleged perv. After all, all 300 might be lying about him

Saville aside (and the woman has nothing to say about him other than that as far as she was aware some of the stories don't add up to her personal experience), it's sad that the abuse she suffered was actually at the hands of the government/institutions/psychiatrists and other officials, few of whom will ever be brought to justice.

Far from the den of abuse that is being portraid in the media the home she ended up in sounds like the best place she could have hoped for and that it instilled some hope for a better future in her.

It just goes to show that there's two sides and you can't believe everything that's printed in the papers, though I think we all knew that.
It doesn't imply innocence to the perv though as said. Though there's a couple on here who would like to think it may.

Thanks for that link AS.

I wonder who was able to get wayback pages removed and more importantly, why?

Abuse victims should be heard. They should be listened to intently. By the same token, those accused of such heinous crimes should be so accused by tested evidence, not newspaper circuses. This shouldn’t be a subject to push up newspaper circulation, nor for a Punch and Judy show between branches of the political media – the damage done by sexual abuse is too profound for that. What is happening, with a – shall we call it polite disbelief – in some quarters, that not all the ’400 victims who have come forward’ are entirely motivated by a desire for the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, does a disservice to every genuine case.

A sentiments I share.

Just heard on the news that police are very close to arresting his associates.....mmmm there will be some squeaky bums out there tonight

It's only a matter of time before there's a high profile suicide with a very telling note nearby

According to some there's a big household name likely to be arrested soon.
Shall we have a guessing game who it might be.
