Is it possible to terminate SWA inside this box?

The SWA cable could be glanded into a metal box for mechanical strength with the metal box being enclosed in a plastic box to prevent access (without tools) to the "earth" imported along the SWA onto the metal box.

I would NOT put a junction in the box but would extend the uncut inner cores of the SWA cable out of the boxes to the CU or other device the cable is supplying. As the sleeve around the cores is not adequate mechanical protection for the cores I would add mechanical protection to the cores.

Yes, if there is a need to isolate the SWA armour, that would be an effective approach.

In a few situations (e.g. when the SWA is feeding a CU very close to its termination) that is certainly a very reasonable approach, but I certainly would not suggest it as a generalisation. If there were an appreciable distance from SWA termination to whatever it was feeding, or if it were directly feeding, say, accessories (e.g. a sockets circuit or an FCU), then I would want a junction in the box with a proper appropriate cable continuing thereafter - rather than using an improvised cable consisting of the inner parts of SWA with some ad-hoc added protection.

I agree that a long run of core is not best practise.

I would still bring the cores out of the plastic box un-cut before terminating them in a junction box. That enables the junction box to be worked on without any risk of the local "earth" accidently making contact with the imported "earth"
