The easy and best way is to use sheets as big as possible with countersunk screws.If near a wall then fix a 1 inch by 1/2 inch batten to the wall as long as convenient about 1 inch below the ceiling.Then lift up the board and put the edge over the batten. With that end held by the batten lift and position the other end ,line up and secure.A lightweight jack is also available (or 2) to hold the board while it is secured with screws. You must get organised before you start.

You'll need plasterboard screws, with a concaved underside to the head ,usually with phillips/2 head and your batten's are too thin or you could try dot and dab
Have you ever actually done this with a 12.5mm 8x4 on your own?
And not snapped the corner/ fallen over backward/collapsed with exhaustion (with the board on top of you)/failed to feed the light cable through
It's possible, just not what I would call easy!
