External render -help, how much to budget?!

Hi, my house is in need of some overdue maintenance. The external render is flaking and very poor condition so needs replacing. I dont want to waste tradespeples time by asking for quotes now as we literally have to start saving ££ from scratch. I have no idea how much this should cost , guess it will be 4 figures at least??... How much should I expect per square meter? Its a 3 bed tudor style 1930s semi if that helps?

Yikes that's a lot! So far we have a grand total of £0 as we just shelled out on getting the car fixed. Just trying to gauge when we can think about getting it done and how long it will take us to save up....

You need someone(or two) to look at it and give a quote.Just be honest and say you want to know how much, to see if you can budget to get it done. You don't need to give any more detail than that.

If they are a tradesperson they will understand. If not, then you wouldn't want them doing the work anyway

This will be far more realistic than people here, however well intentioned, giving you blind estimates.

totally agree, you will know for certain what your looking at then.

Never know it might not be as bad as you think (fingers crossed) go down the route of asking what you could possibly do to keep the costs down.
