how to wire a dimmer lightswitch

I have a red wire and a black on but on dimmer it has L1 L2 VVC GRD what wires go we're please?

Hi instructions dont really say anything and dosnt state make just says ir controller and has 4 holes L1 L2 GRD VCC and on wall I got 2 wires 1 black 1 red

Yeah it's off eBay av contacted seller but no reply only instructions it has is that on pic which to me dosnt make sense.

Just says red to + black to - but they isn't a plus and minus they just L1 L2 GRD VCC

L1 L2 GRD VCC

GRD and VCC are terms used most often in 5 volt supplies to electronic assemblies. Are you sure this really is a dimmer ?

1) Send it back for a refund, or throw it away.

2) Reflect on the wisdom of buying random stuff off eBay unless you are absolutely sure of what you are doing.

When you took the old switch off did the red wire go in the C (Common) terminal and the black in the L(1) terminal?
Is the dimmer metal?

Yeah I have done that it red into L1 and black into ground lights on but won't switch off or dimmer 😡

I have looked at instructions but they don't make sense it dost show what wire goes were it states vvc or grd
