Dimmer switch

Hello,

Need to put a dimmer switch onto existing 2-way lighting.

The switch at present is wired as follows; 2 red wires terminated into

common, one of which is live: black goes into L1. A second black wire

terminates into L2.

to wire the dimmer switch in, do the pair of red wires go into L2 and

the black strappers go into the existing terminals L1 and the

transformer terminal.

As breezer says but also that the dimmer is capable of driving inductive loads if a wire wound tranformer.
