The religious man says that God created the universe. Well if someone did design it and press the button to create a hologram world you can give him whatever name you like. Let's call him God shall we?

I would recommend you read "The Grand Design' by Stephen Hawking and Leonard Mlodinow. They never mentions a Holograms and to be honest and not disrespectful. these two guys have far more credibility than you.
They discuss Multiverses and M-Theory, both beyond my small minded comprehension, but with your Great Mind, you may be able to make some sense of it. Both of the above theories have more credulity than your Hologram world, but I still don't comprehend the minds of these great people.

I said it was some type of super-hologram to give you the gist of the theory. Imagine hologram theory 20 million years in advance of today and you might get the drift.
