Graduation Photograph

This has all the makings of an interesting thread.

I wonder what it will be about.

I bet it was about muslims or religion.

I am sure they will remember each other in years to come, as any Uni student would !

I can just remember some of them looking at that in years to come:

"Oh, isn't that Fatima? I recognise the slightly more oval eye slit."

One does not need to see a persons face to remember them in days gone by

Rather irrelevant Bosswhite.
You don't need a photograph to remember someone from years gone by.
The point is this is a photograph of Black Cloth. Photographs are taken as a memory jogger and nostalgia. This photograph does neither.
The photograph is just ridiculous and amplifies the stupidity of the Veil.

Why does it concern you what they wear,

You are not forced to wear the same clothes (are You?)

Its probably just a "rigged" photograph to stir up racial hatred, and there are those that will believe it is real.

Do you believe this is genuine or just a publicity stunt ?

Why does it concern you what they wear,

It concerns me because this hideous Veil can hide what is behind it. It could be anyone, any gender any thing. It is a suppression of women by insecure males, it is not part of British culture and the wearing of such apparel offends me, as does Balaclavas worn by persons to hide their identity, as does Hoodies for the same reason . It is not racist as you suggest, it is just a desire for openness over secrecy, hence the dislike of Hoodies , balaclava's which are worn for secrecy, and The Veil.
If you find the Veil, Hoodies etc acceptable the that is your prerogative as it is mine to find them offensive.

But you dont seem to find the wearing of Balaclava`s or Hoodies that offensive to post about them, why is that ?
