New roof recommendations

Will be extending an end of terrace 30's house soon.
Current roof is original and overdue for replacement, looking for suggestions on types of roofing available.
What options apart from standard tiled roof? any lightweight or recycled material options? Price comparisons? will probably be adding solar panel at some stage of build.

Thatch? Corrugated metal? Onduline? Polycarbonate sheet?

Either those, or perhaps something that matches the existing roofs of the terrace?

Thanks but the houses in the terrace all have differing tiles so nothing to match.
Was hoping for someone more knowledgeable.
