Yesterday we had a gas leak. Gas engineer fitted a new pipe into the boiler (regulator?) and all appeared ok. The boiler working fine before the leak. Now it is continually cutting out. Pressing the reset button, tries to start up and then cuts out. Anyone got any ideas? Many thanks.

Model of the boiler would be a help.

Did the engineer test the boiler after he had done the gas leak, could be that air needs purging from pipe ???
Has the gas supply been turned back on.

Gas supply is back on. Engineer was only concerned about the supply - up to and including the meter - didn't do anything to the boiler.
He should have purged gas supply and checked all gas appliances.
