Hi all,

Roughly what weight and span would I need a third central bracket? My pole is 185cm and the weight is 4.5kg, would 2 brackets cope?

Possibly, but how sturdy is your pole?

Cheers

Pole is plenty study enough - I think two brackets with decent fixings should do it, just thought there may be a sought of weight threshold where 3 are needed. I guess anything >200cm would always need 3?

Probably. Try it with two and see.

You need three when the curtain causes the centre of the pole to sag , if it does not sag then you have enough support.
