Hi there
We want to put some blinds into a bay window, and working out where they will hang it seems that they will bump into the handles on the uPVC windows. The blind manufacturers are suggesting putting the track for the blind on the outside of the frame or overhanging the inside to add extra clearance. Neither of these options is really what we want to do.
So it occurred to me that another way of adding clearance is to get window handles that have a lower profile than the ones in place at the moment. But I've been calling around the local companies and not getting any joy in finding someone who has any ideas on that.
So I wonder, has anyone here sourced/used/seen low profile window handles? Our current ones stick out by just shy of 60mm, and we need at least an extra 10mm to make it work. Any insights into whether they are any good, or other things to consider would be great.
Cheers
