Hello!

I'm hoping this is a common issues but couldn't find anything similar in the forum - maybe partly because it's difficult to describe. Anyway...

My kitchen sink cold water tap turns on when I turn it anticlockwise but if I keep turning anticlockwise it turns off :?. I've removed the tap head cover and looks ok in terms it turning the head correctly. Cold water pressure on other tapes is fine. It is likely to be a problem with the tap head?

Many thanks
Tristan

Since it turns on, then why do you want to keep turning it further?

I cannot think of why it would do what you describe. If you were very close I would come free to see what it is doing that!

Do you know the difference between flow and pressure?

Possibly a quarter turn tap maybe that is spinning all way round therefore turning it off again?

I've googled it and I suspect I mean that the flow is low because the tap starts to turn off before becoming fully on. Also I've found by pushing on the tap head it is operating more normally.
