Outside tap pressure low

Hi all,

My outdoor tap pressure has been very low ever since we removed the downstairs toilet (the two must be linked?! Maybe not).

When I removed the outside tap completely, the pressure was still low coming out.

Kitchen tap pressure is fine, not affected.

Attached a picture of what it looks like coming into the house. The white tap head in the picture turns the outside tap on and off (fully turned on and pressure still low) and you can see where the pipe was capped after removing the toilet that used to be there (we didn't remove it ourselves).

Any ideas of what to try to get the pressure back to the outside tap?

Firstly that Tee should have been replaced with an elbow to remove the dead leg that you now have.

Secondly I'd be taking off that old tap and checking it works and opens fully.

Have you opened the stopcock fully, or however you isolated the water to remove the toilet?

Thanks. What's the best way to remove the old tap? I'm a complete beginner with this.

Yeah that's definitely fully open as had to open and close it when I took off the outside tap.

Did you not use that old tap for the outside tap? Did you use the same tap for the toilet removal?

Ah, no. Attached a picture of the outside tap (recently replaced as thought that might be the issue).

No idea why that old tap was used to control the outside one from the inside as well!
