I might need my tin hat for this but don't the words 'Tenerife' and 'all inclusive' = hoards of brats and noise?

Looks like we will go to Ireland then.

The thing that puts me off is the weather it rain a lot !!!!!!

As with any holiday, you gets what you pays.

You may get lucky with a late deal, but generally speaking the more it costs the better the holiday. Our best family holidays are the ones that have cost the most.

I'd rather wait and save or do without altogether rather than cram together with tattooed grasping, greedy, ignorant Brit chavs along with their feral kids Tyler, Callum, Cheyanne and Britney.

If you can resist heavy sales and understand the small print in the terms of the offer then a Time share promotion visit can provide a good low cost holiday. A friend did it several times. Arrange the sales meeting to be near the end of the week so there are fewer days to see the sales rep who failed to convince you and thus bears a grudge against you.

Think I'd rather mix with the cheap chavs than accidentally bump into you, Mr Angry, on my vacations   Bet you're always shouting and complaining to the reps, hotel managers, waiters and anyone else who is paid to put up with you.

There aren't any at the villa we rent.

However, when I go on a lads holiday (three this year booked) I always establish a rapport (££) with a keen waiter or pool hand to ensure that things run smoothly and without hassle. Money talks. Ho hum.

Have I touched a nerve with the tattoo thing or the kids' names Dex? 8)

Only ribbing you

Am glad that your work is doing well enough to afford you the breaks :)
Always a good idea to bribe pool attendants to put the towels on the sunbeds

Tenerife? Never been.

My first wife goes now and again, along with her mother and her cousins. From what I can make out, it's all about boozing and sitting on the beach.

Not exactly intellectually stimulating.

I remember a hilarious incident in Los Christianos when I was younger.
A couple of friends thought it would be fun to go skinny dipping late at night in one of the many pools.
So I ran off with their clothes.

February at Oasis del Sur and the pool was very cold but my daughters went for a swim. They loved cold pools. Two Germans tested the water, thought it too cold and were about to leave when one said. "Zee English children are swimming, vee must swim" We stayed in longer than we planned and the Germans stayed in. We got out and walked round the corner, stopped and went back to see what was happening. The Germans were out and wrapping themselves in towels.
