Hello,

I have a problem that I would like some advice with please if poss. I have a traditional bath shower mixer that I purchased from a company called Victoria Plumb they are internet based. The hot tap does not seem to be working properly. The reason I say this is because when I turn on the hot tap there is not so much water as the cold tap and when I turn the hot tap on full the water stops running? can anyone advise me what I should do? is it a case of buying new taps? I have 3 year old triplets so I need to do something smartish as at the moment we are having to use the shower, which is not too great as you can imagine, what with little wet monkeys flooding the bathroom.

Thanks for any help in advance .

Has this recently happened with and has the tap/shower mixer been in for a while?

What is the model of the tap, if you know it?

No it hasn't recently just happened, it seems to be getting progressively worst. First of all the level that turns the bath to shower broke and now this :( The tap has been in since 2012.

The model of the tap is HAMPSHIRE BATH SHOWER MIXER

Quick question, have you got service valves underneath the bath, supplying the hot & cold feeds?
Check the hot is fully open.

Washer may have perished in the tap and stuck down.

You could also have an airlock in the hot pipework.

If the lever that switches from shower to tap is broken though, you probably should look at getting a new one.

It's got a 10 year guarentee, if you can find your paperwork for it. get them to replace it?
