hi... I'm about to tile my door canopy with 10.5" x 6.5" tiles. I've been told I need to use eave tiles for the top row and bottom row. what purpose do these tiles serve and do I have to use them ?
cheers

The eaves tiles goes under the bottom course of tiles to catch the water, the top course is so you dont have to fit an excessively large apron to cover the top course.

The eave tile which goes beneath the first course is needed to provide adequate cover for the second course without which the water will penetrate the roof.
