So.. Quick question: For a couple of reasons, it'll be a bit hard work to fit UFH pipes to the upper floors, in the floor.. .so I'm wondering if UFH is ever fitted to walls instead? How effective is it?

The theory is good.... Until someone hangs their pictures.... Ask the ufch suppliers such as upinor. The obvious answer is rads... Hope that helps.

If you could manage it then it would actually work quite well.

But you would only want it in the lower part of the wall as its nicer to have the head a little cooler.

But you would need to call it In Wall Heating or IWH !

Was only planning on doing it up to about a metre high.. And you could say the same for the electrics.. Equally possible to bang a nail through a live..

Don't want rads, they'd have to be huge because of the low temps from a heat pump based system
