Shower keeps going cold

Try Gigz idea Slinky, if it's still the same then you need to get someone in to check the heat exchanger in the boiler, the bit that heats the hot water. If that's scaled up or filled with cr@p from the CH system then that may be causing your issue.
No, you shouldn't have to top it up every 2 months, you have a pressure loss somewhere. Is there water dripping out of a small pipe that will be situated on the outside wall in the general vicinity of the boiler?
Having to top up won't help with corrosion in your system and can speed up the blocking up of your heat exchanger.

First thing to do is take the shower head off and do the above test again. What sometimes happens is the flow is restricted by the shower head and the boiler temporarily overheats, cuts out, then cools and starts again. Turn the DHW temp back down to suit your taps.

I will try this this weekend, another problem is the boiler keeps on loosing pressure as it seems almost every 2 months I need to top it up is that normal?
No, its got a leak somewhere.

Ok so I am still having this problem I noticed the boiler was losing pressure, so paid a plumber to come around and put some fernox F4 leaksealer and some Fernox F1 protector.

The good news is the pressure seems to be fairly stable so I am hoping the leak is fixed.
However the water is still going cold intermittently...

You will live to regret that, any leak sealer is for lazy barstewards that do not understand how modern boilers work, if you have a leak fix the leak

Well you are entitled to your opinion and I did ask for peoples opinions on here which can be very subjective. The manufacture actually recommended it after we already thought we had fixed it the leak.

well it is not just my opinion as I am a professional not a DIYr and you are saying that Worcester Bosch recommended that you use leak sealer ?

Suggest you get someone that knows what there doing at the same time they can issue you with a Lanlords gas safety cert as your thinking of renting your property out. As for Worcester Bosch recommending a leak sealer. That’s a load of *******s.

2 1/2 yrs to sort it ??? You need someone to look at it.

haha ok mate if you say so

Guess your one of these people that likes to just hear what you want to here. Ps I’m not your mate

@holty always the same, ops come on here and ask for FREE professional advice and when that advice is not what they want to hear they just dismiss it and keep asking till someone tells them what they want to hear, well OP fill the complete system with leak sealer, and good luck with your Worcester warranty call if they find out you have used leak sealer, you said they recommended it, they actually refuse warranty on certain models if it has been used
