I certainly agree that the luvvies hate UKIP, a bunch of common working class people who care about mundane issues such as their livelihoods, how parochial.
I suppose the same might apply to Corbyn, dunno.
ukip are now a spent force they got the protest vote from the well healed disenfranchised adult

I think you are being aged-twisted-bigotist. I know young(ish) people who voted UKIP.
The young tend to be idealistic, and in some respects naive. And I think you misunderstand UKIP. A lot of people voted for them in the European elections as a protest, since most parties were ignoring important issues, and the result did not matter. Whereas in the national election voting for them might have put them into government, which few want.

I tend to agree with the other poster. So many young people follow the 'party line' as 'free thinkers' wearing the uniform of the 'liberal left' without realising it. Just look at BBC comedy on R4.
with all the social media and perhaps 10 sources off different news sources i doubt the bbc will fully influence any young person
i dont know many young people that actually pay much attention to the the actual news broadcasts they tend to be in there own world

Well if that proves to be the case I'm afraid the country as a whole will eventually realise their mistake and regret it.
To be perfectly honest, and the way things are going at the moment, at my time of life I'm beginning to think that I couldn't care less. Also, if it turns out that the majority decide to remain in the EU, I just hope that they don't start bleating about it later.
