Trying to replace my st 699 with 9400c.
I followed the wiring instruction by honeywell diagram but there was no wire at 7 in the old one to insert in 1 in the new one. It worked when switched on but it would not switch off or stop when the time set is over. It works continuously.
Can you help please
Thanks

The wire at 7 gives a DHW off signal, if that is needed. Probably your set up did not need an DHW off signal. What sort of wiring plan do you have S, Y C or something else?

Did you follow the replacement instructions that came with the 9400c? They tell you exactly how to replace a 699 with a 9400.

On the new programmer:
Blue to N
Brown to L
Grey to 3
Black to 4.
No wire links or anything else.
