You'll be pleased to know it rained heavy for 38 hours straight. Valderrama was cancelled. I'm not letting on when my next trip is because you'll do that rain dance thing again.:(

so she should have been leopards never change there spots (summit like that any way )

The fact that she got to the 2nd round & got 30% (?) of the vote should be a wake up call for France & the EU

lets hope that it is ??
It's not like a lot of people voted for her at all is it, I heard it was around only 11 million (But It could all be lies) so the EU will last for a thousand years..

It was a wake-up call for all France, which is why they voted against Le Pen!
And it sends a strong message to the RWR brigade ('brigade' - favourite term used by RWR's). They were hoping for a fascist domino effect. Poor RWR brigade.

Really? Maccy wants to punish the UK so a proper Brexit is becoming more likely. He also intends to modernise the employment laws...Good luck with that! I wouldn't plan a motoring holiday in France for a few years.

I'll try later, to find the link to a wider story about french labour militancy, esp. with regard to a tyre factory (which may or may not have been this particular one, although i think it was in northern France). Although, IIRC, some foreign company came in with investment to save the place, on the proviso that the workers changed their very generous working practices. They outright refused to budge, and so the factory's fate was sealed.
