And we also know that landlords and their contractors have made alterations which make the homes dangerous, including cutting holes in fire walls and ceilings, and fitting unprotected gas pipes. Other landlords line their pockets with non-compliant loft conversions, removing internal walls and removing fire doors, as well as shoddy and dangerous electrical work. We already know all that.
I doubt many tenants of tower blocks have been removing Bernard's walls, or ignoring calls for better regulations.
But nothing compares to wrapping the blocks in flammable cladding.
