i have had a fake (plaster board over batton) chimney breast removed in my living room. it looks as if previously there may have been some heating installation behind it as there were some copper pipes running behind the fake chimney (they were not doing anything as they were cut off at the bottom and were also cut where they hit ceiling floorboards and were wedged in a gap)
there was also a 2.5 cable running down the wall behind the old plaster board which was run to some form of small white fused box (there was a separate smaller gauge wire coming out of the box which had simply been cut and taped over . there was a channel cut into the wall where this box and wire was
i have had new plaster board put in place and want to put my tv there. I took the fuse box off the wire and i have attached a single power point to this lead and have tested an appliance on it and it works fine.
is it ok to run my TV off this cable. the TV power output is around 150w
i am not sure if its part of my downstairs ring or a separate ring
i do have a space on my consumer unit which says "immersion circuit" but i dont have any immersion heaters. I do have a combi boiler in kitchen and a seperate shower circuit and cooker one etc
