Painting over Quick Dry Satinwood

Just painted a couple of doors and door frames in Dulux Quick Dry and after 3 coats have given it up as a bad job.

What's the best way to go about painting over it?

Is there a suitable one coat paint to that gives a good result?

Crown trade satinwood oil based, covers well and stays white.
