They're not; they're trying to deter anyone one else from escaping the concentration camp. And if they get us to stay, then they know they know they have us where they want us.

Let's see, the Germans tried to dominate the world in the 1st war, and again failed in the 2nd world war, so whilst I will be accused of all sorts of things by the LWR on here, my immediate response to this, is that I hear another German silently shouting Sieg Heil, Sieg Heil.

So what does it matter what party leaders set out their aspirations for their future at party conferences?
It is what it is an aspiration of Martin Schulz, nothing more.
More importantly, SPD have agreed a coalition with Angela Merkle.

I can easily add some silly political comments made by politicians of all sorts. It does not mean much because they are what they are.
For instance Ruth Davidson would sack Boris, an aspiration for Ruth Davidson but it does not meant it will happen any time soon.
Boris Johnson wants the EU to go whistle, but it will not happen any time soon.
Phillip Lee, a justice minister, has told a fringe meeting that the welfare state is like a “Ponzi scheme” close to collapse.

There are loads of comments that can be listed, it does not mean that any of them will happen any time soon. They are just thoughts spoken out loud for the benefit of the party faithful.
