You'll have to register and join the Combustion Chamber to find out.;)

..... and if you're doing commercial work then you should be certified for it and should know that answer anyways :sneaky:

Not doing commercial work, just came across a commercial meter and wondered that’s all.
As an engineer I ask myself questions like this all the time. If your going to jump to conclusions then your advice or comments are not welcome.

Post up ALL the necessary information required in order to calculate the test time and I’m sure someone will help.:)
I won’t be holding my breath.:ROFLMAO:

Jumping to conclusions??

In an open forum where there can be a host of illegal gas workers trying to get information that they shouldn't have, it's more about erring on the side of caution and reiterating the obvious. Happens in here all the time. As a poster in the forum with 54 posts then it could reasonably considered that you would be aware of the forum rules and that any key information about gas work cannot be discussed in the open forum.

You see as I just hold a domestic ACS I walked past a huge gas meter and the question sprung to mind. From your answer (however sarcastic it maybe). Obviously there is much more to testing commercial gas meters and gas carcuses.
I did not realise the forum rules regarding such questions. I can now see why from some of what seemed rude at the time answers that I was questioned. It seems like the answer Im looking for is much more detailed and needs more information than I imagined to answer correctly. Apologies to all.
