So Mrs Shadow Home Secretary, what do we do with illegal immigrants?

In this context, perhaps breaking into the back of a container lorry in Calais, stowing away across the channel and then springing out at the next motorway service station.*

*Other illegal routes are available

Thats the ones we see. But the vast majority of illegal immigrants are visa over stayers. Who came here legally and then did not return. Who should be easier to track down as we have their ID details but the government botched that up as well.

That's the ironic bit that brexshiteers just don't get.

They claim to have 'got their country back', but will have all the same issues albeit without the collective method of restraint!

'dumbos' indeed!

Does getting our country back mean we should end all foreign ownership of UK assets? Whats the point of getting our country back when so much is owned by foreigners.

Well since you have 'Nothing to hide, nothing to worry about', would you care to share with us your personal details?

Like real name, address, medical history, financial details etc

After all, you appear to be happy to share that information with complete strangers in government and have that information swapped between faceless departments.

And of course any government is so squeaky clean that it'll never do anything underhand or screw up your data?

Those who claim that they have 'Nothing to hide, nothing to worry about' should be very afraid - of themselves!

After all, not caring about your own privacy is akin to not caring about free speech because you have nothing to say!

First they came for....;)
So , you believe the government know nothing about me?

That's fair enough.

However, as I've posted elsewhere...

As it stands, post Brexshit should my partner (having spent an entire working life in the UK) leave for 2 years and a day she would have to go through a financial assessment (based on my income) in order to be let back in.

Should she be classed as an 'illegal' in order to live as before with her family should the current excessive 'test' requirements not be met?

Not only that, but she has to prove that she has lived here for all those previous years, but would be denied access to official documents.

And repeatedly should the same situation arise again!

Fair or unfair?

Oh, and do you have detailed records for every year you have been in the UK?
It's not as easy as you think to prove your 'legality' when the state has the right to refuse you any documentation whatsoever!

Nope - it's the ability of cross referencing that is the problem.

But hey, why haven't you put those requested personal details online yet?

If you don't want to 'share' you could at least tell us why!

'getting our country back' means diddly in a globalised world.

The rest of what we currently 'own' will be sold off mainly to american corporates anyway!

So brexshiteers should get used to what they are about to force upon us all.

Namely s hit food leading to expensive s hit healthcare - without the regulatory 'middle man'!

Why are you bringing up Brexit. That will only attract John D.

This is about illegal immigration, which is distinct from Brextit, and the fact that the Shadow Home Secretary (who would be in charge of such things) does not have a scooby about it, which must mean that the Labour party does not either. Such an important thing for the country and no policy at all.

Blame all the [br]others who have flouted imigration law which means that such checks are needed.

The same sort of thing that means the Woody family who have been here since 49BC need to take their passports with them to prove their Englishness for things such mundane things as going for a job, renting a house, opening an account, everything really. We never had to do none of this as recently as 30 years ago, and its all because of the illegals f'in it up for the legals.

As opposed to all the 'f'in' indigenous racists/xenophobes who've f ucked up our entire country?

Brexshiteers didn't have a clue about illegal / legal.

They just bought into an idea that they were hard done by, and that 'johnny/jane foreigner' were to blame for self inflicted problems!

There you go again.

What has this got to do with Brexit?

Hint: Abott's car crash interview was bought on because of Windrush. Jamaica is 4500 miles away and outside of Schengen. Do keep up, stay on topic.

Which bit of 'They just bought into an idea that they were hard done by, and that 'johnny/jane foreigner' were to blame for self inflicted problems' didn't you get?

Why was 'immigration' the main theme of the brexshit campaign?

Throughout history when a populace thinks they are being hard done by they blame 'outsiders' - people with a different culture/belief/skin colour

Well believe it or not the real 'outsiders' nowadays are the corporates - and they are p issing themselves laughing at ignorance such as yours!

Oh look...even the daily fail is now reporting the c ock ups!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ft-UK-ordered-Uganda-Home-Office-cock-up.html

"I couldn't believe that I was having to prove that I wasn't an illegal immigrant when I was born here."

Maybe 'ihatemyjob' is the one who ought to be 'paranoid'?

Oh but I forgot - it could never happen to him/her!

Can he/she prove legal status beyond doubt though?
