Hi. I am in the process of replacing my alarm control box when connecting the tamper wires in series, i.e connecting the yellow to the next green etc, is it adequate to twist the wires together and tape as I did when I originally installed my alarm or could I connect the wires with wago 222 connectors. I have a few in my toolbox. I wasn't sure if the wires will be too thin to use this type of connector with. I have never soldered electrics so don't really want to go down that road. Any help appreciated.

I'm sure a 222 would be fine for thin cables, I use them for testing now and then. Alternatively use a small piece of choc block? Twisting the wires together is a really bad idea for a permanent install.

Thanks for taking time to reply magicmushroom. Ill give the wago a go. A sparkie told me to twist the wires together about 10 years ago when I fitted original. Never had a false alarm but looks a mess and always thought it would bite me on the backside. Thanks again.
