I think the supermarkets are to blame as they state what they will pay in order to attract the shoppers (us) who go to the cheapest.

Whilst no doubt the supermarkets are in it mainly for their own profits, one has to question the reason why the majority of people 'go to the cheapest'?
Probably because they are forced to by falling real wages and benefits, whilst the rich/corporates get tax cuts/breaks!
Why do you not report them for not paying the minimum wage?
They must pay at least the minimum wage: £313 per week.
If the farmers pay more (let us assume that farmers are not raking it in, and are just making a living wage) the cost of the produce must rise. Otherwise the produce rots in the fields. That is no good for anyone.
If the produce rots in the field, tax take is reduced, farmers go bankrupt, people are out of work or cannot afford the increased prices, or resort to helping themselves.
Good this Brexit lark, innit?

Supermarkets dictate terms on how they purchase produce from farmers, if a farmer raises his price the Supermarket goes elsewhere.
What difference is that from non-migrants minimum wage and housing costs?
The real difference is that migrants (mainly young people) are willing to travel often long distances to/around the UK to work at the drop of a hat, and move on when the next crop is ready.
Whilst some indigenous folk could be considered too lazy/'discerning' to do such menial labour, the logistics for many make it difficult for there to be a marked change in those who will be needed to do the harvesting in the future!

Its the Unscrupulous farmers and other business`s that charge the lodging fees, by employing slave gangs that go around the Uk to work, therefore the wages paid are far less than minimum wage These Migrants are trapped

I suspect the taxman, accountant or similar would be able to suss out such practices purely by looking at the accounts.
But I guess private landlords charging extortionate rent for the low paid 'indigenous population' are such great saints?
And zero hours contracts are not legally trapping people to live under 'in work' poverty conditions?

Genius can you give me your definition of a socialist. I give you one thing, DUMBos don't hold back in using the word as a pejorative and label anything they don't understand or like (pretty much everything) as socialist so they can mark it off in their under developed brains as something that doesn't require further thought.
