Hi Folks

Is anyone aware of any reliable muscle gain and fat reduction measuring equipment for men?

Thanks

If your trousers are getting tighter it aint working.

If they are getting looser it is working.

On a more serious note, what you are asking may depend on your reason. Is it for health reasons or body image.

If for body image, I would think focusing on an exercise regime for muscle building of specific areas would be best.

For health, I dont think its easy to calculate fat percentage v muscle. For example a healthy liver should only contain 3% fat, but you would probably need scsns to assess what the percentage is.

Body Mass scales are fairly consistent if not accurate. Thats about the most practical low cost option for home use

Good call. They won't give you an accurate reading but show progress, kinda like calorie consumption on a cross trainer or rower. A bit of a gimmick but if it encourages you it's all gravy. If you're a real athlete hydrostatic weighing is the way to go but as previously stated out of most peoples reach and needs. Realistically use the mirror mate.

I bought bathroom scales , Weight Watchers brand and I never knew I was so heavy. I wonder if they overread so you sign up to Weight Watchers?

If your right forearm is noticeably bigger than your left, try swapping hands every so often until they become similar.
