Block Paving - Installing Ground Lights

Hello,
I’m planning to have block paving installed and would like to include recessed ground lights along the border bricks.

I’m struggling to understand how these can be installed - most ground lights have a 1m tail and not enough room directly underneath them for the exess cable/waterproof terminal box.

This means they need to be pre connected and terminal box buried under the block paving.

However before any bricks are layed, the whole area will be prepared with MOT, sand and compacted down leaving no oppertunity to get these connected ready.

Am I missing something? The paving area is surrounded by tarmac, I.e. no gravel borders to use for the cabling.

Whenever ive had a customer who wanted lights.
we simply put cable ducting in and left the duct pipe sticking up where lights go.
you need a draw cord fitting or fit cable as you go.

you can then install lights when its paved.

That's what I was going to do, but then I realised there would be no where for a junction box to be kept to connect to the 1m "sealed" tail of the lights to the supply cable.

Maybe a small inspection Chamber would solve that, 150x150 mm or smaller.
Bit like a water stop cock box etc though you can get the proper box ,ask at a electric wholesalers
