Hi all

We had a level ball value fail today on the hot side (sealed system, mains pressure). It leaked between the joint that holds the two parts together. The first image below shows a side that has a small gap and its here where the water came out.

The second picture show the other side where there is no gap and it looks tight.

I thought it was crossed threaded but the gap doesn't look wide enough for it to be so.

This has been live for 9 months without an issue.

Any ideas ?

Toby

Lots of brassware is now Chinky made, and the quality has suffered. Sort of stuff that gets fitted for customers where price is their only consideration. For myself, would only use brands like Pegler.
