What's the best way to place some kind of flap on the roof edge that drops into the gutter to prevent water running down back of the gutter and down the side of the building?

Picture shows what we've currently got.

Stick self adhesive Flashbanding on the roof edge ( the wider the better) and guide the flash banding into the gutter length ways , then paint the flash banding edge with flat roof repair sealant .

a quick temporary bodge a bead off silicone at the bottom front to form a temporary drip strip

mackie's drawing is on the right lines. it depends on what roof covers been used an if its for permanent or tempory?

above the already fixed gutter
typicly, only use one drip piece, double not needed - wrap an nail a length of drip edge to it (or even flashband for temporary).
fix the drip piece to the fascia with the drip edge on the inside, an flap the remainder up on to the roof for gluing down.

what im suggestin should have been done when the roof was built.
