Baxi 105e Remote Expansion vessel adding.

the only way to see if it is goosed is to try and pump it up, if it is burst you will hear it straight away

That vessel appears to be goosed then, although that could be condensation. No harm in re-pressurising it and see if the bladder is intact. Don't connect a new vessel where your red arrow is! The pipe to the RHS is the ch return (the one with the drain off on). Connect it into there if you need it.
Hi so the filling loop pipe line which goes to the 22mm left side in pic this is not where you would connect a remote vessel as that is a feed into boiler?
So I would connect it to the R/H 22mm that is the CH return right ?

Yep. Or just get an RGI to whip the boiler off the wall, pop a new vessel in, and put it back.

Doing a bit of reading looks like some vessels can also be fitted on the flow side .

You're overthinking it. Pump the vessel up as ianmcd said, it is more than likely fine.
Or get in someone who knows what they are doing

Hi all I pumped up the original vessel over the weekend and so far so good has not lost pressure on gauge when CH has been on and off

Another question the drain point on the right hand of my 2nd pic on the return pipe Is that where I would drain the radiators / sytem from I'm assuming this will only do the upstairs radiators , as I cannot see another drain point out side or inside the house?

Is your boiler still working ?

Yes so far so good has not lost any pressure since pumping it up

Only issue i do have is on the diverter valve the little pins which come out and push against the micro switch does not always come out meaning the boiler does not ignite
Only the vertical one seems to play up .

It's easy to take to bits . Loads of videos on YouTub
Hi so did yours have the same issue where the pin does not come out enough to push the micro switch , and this kit fixed that problem or your DV was leaking ?
I have changed the lateral pin nut earlier in the year because mine was leaking but not the top nut which is the one which does not come out enough.

I had the pin problem a couple of years ago , when you take the diverter valve apart be careful the spring will fly out ( mine was covered in limescale ) give it a good clean and replace the diaphragm. It worked for me . My expansion vessel either needs pumping up or replacing

Ok I will give it a go and see if it cures my problem,
Yes I would try pumping your vessel up and see if it stays pressurised over a few days.

Did you take the water pressure to 0 before you pumped it up ? What did you pump it up to ?(1 bar )
