Anyone been to the Monaco F1?

I thought it was too good to be true when I bought some half price tickets to see Chas 'n' Dave......

Do not believe you have a chromosome,, ,let alone a gene that comprehends humour.
As I said - go to an open mic night at a comedy club, come out with the nonsense you try here, and see if anybody laughs. Then see if more people laugh when you tell them that what you just said was a joke.

Ok.

As above, I'm thinking of going to see the Monaco F1 this year. There seems to be so many places online selling tickets and I don't want to get there only to find out that I've been sold duds. Any suggestions/past experience? Hoping to fly out and come back same day. Any advice on this trip would be welcome.

How did you get on? Hope you enjoyed the experience. Shame the racing wasn't a little more exciting.

It was great! We flew out the night before, stayed in a hotel near to the airport and got a train in the next day. We had seats on the bend right at the beginning of the Rascasse straight and we were opposite the pits so saw a a fair bit of live pit action too. Saw all the drivers and team principals plus a few other faces. Hamilton raised a few laughs as he was going back and forth on a child’s micro-scooter. Also visited the Monaco motor museum where they had a collection of historic racing cars plus just about every car ever owned by the Grimaldi royal family. Went up to the palace too and was there when Prince Albert drove out.

I went to the British GP many years ago, the cars go past so quickly they are just a blur, a waste of time and money much better to watch on the telly.

Not the same without the deafening noise and the lung fulls of exhaust.

We also had a giant screen almost right opposite us so we could see what else was going around the track. :D

Yep same an old girlfriend took me to Silverston many moons ago she bought paid for some pretty good seats too but I spent most of it watching the big screen not the actually cars just buzzing by. Better on telly. However im pondering Spa this year, although I've always dreamt of being at Suzuka which I may include in my tour of Japan when I can afford it properly.
