I just heard a few minutes of the UK attempt, thats a few minutes of my life gone forever.

Sadly the UK are crap at almost everything these days, our position on the barometer reg the Eurovision is about right imho, lmao.

There was a poll last week
Should we stay in the eurovision or leave. 52 - 48 in favour of leaving.

Well we made it last in the voting, I get the feeling the EU do not like us , I wonder why ???

UK is crap at music? We rank No2 in exports: we have a 22% share of Europe's Music and 12% share of the world market. Only the US has a greater influence.

In 2017, we maintained our exceptional share of the world’s listening, consolidating our position as the second most successful music nation on earth, exporting more music than any country after the US.

But I do think we should withdraw from Eurovision. It costs the license payer around 500K for the rights, but when you look at the other costs its probably around £1-2M

One could equally look at the list and equate it to where the UK stands in terms of trade deals (n)

A bit of national humiliation for those who believe we deserve to do well 'just because'....

Worth it at double the price (y)

Other nations manage to treat it for what it is - a bit of fun!
