Future PM material?

Sky has just pulled the debate that was scheduled......one of the candidates has refused to take part.

So Boris is scared of debating with Jeremy Hunt....... yet he is telling us how he can get a better deal with the EU.
Blow job blows it?

Why do people really care?

Why do some people care about Domestic Violence?

Maybe we should ask why some people don't.

Notch chooses to ignore “get off me” and “get out of my flat”.

And what about Labour MP David Lammy saying he'd throw "any substance" into the face of a "WHITE supremacist".
That is "hate speech and RACISM".
The police should be involved with this, inciting violence.
REMOVE AND CHARGE HATEFUL MP, DAVID LAMMY!!
NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

Why do some people care about Domestic Violence?

Obviously I don't mean that. There is violence, and there is rowing. It's the media hysteria over a reported argument that I have an issue with.
Glad my neighbours don't call the cops every time I shout at my kids to get off the xbox!

Maybe...

However the city of london 'big bang' was subsidised by the billions from Scottish oil...

Thus reparation may be due, over and above Barnett :)

Got any evidence for that? I can't find any. I thought most of it was used to fund benefits to the areas shut down the Tories in the 80's namely most areas north of and including Birmingham.

Hmm, extremely tenuous to say the least... certainly north sea oil revenue was by and large squandered, but to imply that it funded "big bang" is rather stretching it, neither of the articles proport to support that or offer any evidence, they are mere opinion pieces.

those comments arent proof of domestic violence.

"If you heard a violent row, including screaming and a woman shouting "get off me" and a loud banging followed by silence, you'd ignore it, right? No need to call the police? If you saw an red-faced angry gammon manhandling a woman roughly, you'd say she asked for it?"

As opposed to your opposing 'opinion'

If the oil money wasn't there, deregulation in the way it occurred in order to make London the main financial capital of Europe wouldn't have happened...

It provided the financial clout behind the scam!

It would be interesting to know if notchy only considers an incident to be 'domestic violence' if actual physical harm occurs...

The Istanbul convention (which the EU signed) includes psychological violence in the definition...

Bizarrely the UK is almost alone in the EU not to have ratified it!

Youve changed the subject.

I said its not proof of domestic violence

You've changed the subject.

I didn't say it was.

Why would you ignore a noisy disturbance with woman screaming, and shouting "get off me" and "get out of my flat?"

What if it was an angry black chocolate faced man handling a woman badly? Is that an acceptable description?

I suppose it depends whether you have redefined violence - I expect someone has.

There was a bloke on the radio this morning who said his 'girlfriend' was violent toward him - he did not retaliate - and during the attacks she used to shout "Get off me" and similar things.
