I'm struggling to find an external front door in the material and style that I want, but there are a few options for it when looking at internal fire doors. They are also a bit cheaper.
As fire doors are the same thickness as a typical front door, would there be any issues in using them in place of one that is rated for exterior use specifically?
The door is raised up via a few steps, sheltered from the rain in a mini porch of sorts. It is also north facing so won't get battered by the sun. It will have a pretty easy life generally.
