Rusty mustard coloured Austin Marina where you could see the road passing by beneath your feet and where it would stall when you braked due to the demand of the servo. This meant having to pull the choke out to keep the revs high enough so it didn't stall.

Joy.

My first car was a little similar, had to yank the steering wheel Sharp right when braking, bloody death trap.

I once bought a handbag alarm for the wife.
A transmitter for in the bag and a receiver/alarm for in her pocket.

Well, that didn't go down too well I can tell you.
It didn't work either.

We had a 'family' Capri like that once. We also had a Cortina estate that the steering wheel used to come off in your hands (freaked me Ma out!) and the gearbox was secured with two silk ties.
