Hi all. I have the glow worm 28c gas boiler and the climapro2 thermostat. I have the heating set to come on at different stages of the day. I notice last night when the boiler got up to temperature it knocked of as it should do. I went to use the bathroom a while later and heard the boiler switch on again yet the temperature on the thermostat was still at what I had set it to. So why did the boiler switch on again randomly?

Your boiler has a warm start function which the boiler will occasionally come on to keep it hot for when you need HW you can switch this off if you want, press and hold + and - simultaneously for 3 seconds until ECO shows on the display and that is it turned off

Eco is already displayed and its not the hot water icon flashing its the radiator icon flashing.

Hi bit of a long shot but did you ever get a solution to this? Mine has started doing it during the current cold snap and I cant find a reason for it...

Could be a frost stat kicking in, could be a fault on the climapro, could be a fault with the time switch if fitted, could be a problem with the diverter valve and warm start if on. All could be , but you haven to given that much to go on.

Its set to come on at 1830 but seems to start rumbling away quitely for an hour at 17:30, the hot water and rad symbols are flashing but it doesnt seem to be heating the rads, then at 18:30 it seems to kick in fully as normal, does that sound like a feature or something wrong with it do you think? Its not a combi boiler. Thanks
