Toilet flush issue

I have recently installed a new toilet. Everything seems to have gone well. All connections are sound, no leaks. Except for when I flush the toilet, as water flows out the flush pipe into the toilet it sprays water up over the ring onto the seat and the floor. It seems fine up until the entrance to the toilet where water runs up and out at the 90° bend in front of the inlet hole before it then moves to around the ring part, if that makes sense. I've cut the flush pipe slightly shorter at both ends and it hasn't solved this issue. The toilet is level. I have tried to upload a video but I keep getting an error message. Photos I managed to but apologies for lack of quality. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you put in a new cistern too? Might be the new pan is designed for the new "Eco" poo! 6 litres or even less your old cistern might have been 9 litres or even more, try lowering the level in the cistern.

Check there's nothing stuck in the waterways and also it might be a badly moulded pan with some unwanted glazing left over.

Is there something lodged in there ? a spreader perhaps that has moved.

As above really, remove flush pipe and check it has no restrictions, and also check the hole(s) in where the flush pipe connects to the pan.

I did replace an cistern with a 6L one. I will try readjusting the level and settings (again) of the internal parts and see if it makes a difference.

Pretty sure issue is outside the cistern and with the flush pipe and/or pan.

I think so too. I have tried adjusting cistern configuration to no avail.

I will now check the flush pipe.

The flush pipe should not go any further than the depth of the flush cone ,into the pan inlet . If that's done correctly your pan is faulty.

Essentially the flush pipe now sits in the cone about 10mm from its utmost edge. It did butt up initially before I suspected it and cut it back slightly.

I have another toilet which I just checked and I can see what has been called a spreader by the entrance point of water into the pan. My newly installed toilet doesn't have this. I imagine that is important. How would I go about correcting that?

Many thanks for the comments.

Pan should flush correctly, if as said, flush pipe is fitted correctly, then you have a faulty pan, either that pan hasn't been made properly, or the design is incorrect. Only solution, ask your supplier to replace the pan.
